You have probably used AI in a chat window. Claude Code is a different shape of tool, and the difference is not that it is smarter. It is that it works on your files instead of talking to you about them. This module gives you the mental model before you install anything: what the working loop is, where the tool runs, and what your job is while it runs.

Every session you will ever run has the same four beats. You write a prompt. The tool reads and acts. You review what changed. You approve it or you correct it. This module teaches each beat, plus the two things you most need and are least likely to look up in a hurry: how to stop it, and how to undo it.

Everything so far was preparation. This module has you finish a job. You will set up a workspace where mistakes cost nothing, run a document task end to end, and then learn a second pattern you can point at your own recurring work.

Do these with real files from your own business. A practice exercise on invented data teaches you the keystrokes and none of the judgment.
