This policy explains what this site collects, what it does with it, and what it does not do. It is written to be read, not to be survived. If something here is unclear, email info@nantucketai.com and we will answer plainly.

What we collect

Account information. When you register for a course, you give us a name and an email address, and you choose a password. Passwords are stored by WordPress in hashed form. We do not see your password.

Course progress. The learning system records which lessons you have opened and completed, your quiz answers and scores, and whether you finished a course. That is what lets you close the tab and pick up where you left off.

Contact form submissions. If you send a message from the contact page, your name, email address, and message are stored in this site’s database so we can read and reply.

Server logs. Our web host records standard request information such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested. That is normal hosting operation and is used for security and troubleshooting.

That is the full list. There is no hidden collection behind it.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell or rent your information to anyone.
  • We do not run advertising networks or ad trackers on this site.
  • We do not add you to a marketing list because you registered for a course. If we ever send marketing email, it will be because you asked for it, and every message will have a working unsubscribe link.
  • We do not collect payment information, because every course here is free and there is no checkout.
  • We do not sell your course progress or share it with employers, vendors, or anyone else.

How we use what we collect

We use your account information to let you sign in and to save your progress. We use progress data to show you where you are in a course and to see, in aggregate, which lessons people stop at, so we can fix the ones that are not working. We use contact form submissions to answer your message.

We may send you a transactional email if the site is set up to do so, for example a password reset. Marketing email requires your consent, separately given.

Cookies

This site uses cookies for a small number of functional jobs.

  • Login session cookies. Set by WordPress when you sign in, so the site remembers you across pages.
  • Learning system session cookie. Set by LearnPress, the course plugin, to keep track of your session while you move through lessons and quizzes.
  • Caching. The site uses a caching layer to load faster, which may set a cookie or bypass the cache for logged-in users.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block the login cookies, you will not be able to stay signed in or track course progress.

Analytics

There is no analytics package installed on this site. No Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, no third-party behavioral tracking. If that changes, this section will be updated to name the tool and say what it collects, and the change will be reflected in the effective date above.

Who else touches this data

The site runs on a commercial web host, and that host necessarily stores the site’s database and files, including everything described above. We do not share your information with anyone else, with two exceptions: if we are required to by law, or if it is necessary to protect the site or its users from abuse or a security incident.

Your choices and your rights

You can ask us to delete your account and the course progress attached to it. Email info@nantucketai.com from the address on the account and say what you want removed. We will confirm when it is done.

You can also ask for a copy of what we hold about you, or ask us to correct something that is wrong. Same address.

Deleting your account removes your progress. There is no way to restore it afterward, so if you want a record of a completed course, save it first.

Children

This site is intended for adults working in or running businesses. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has created an account, email info@nantucketai.com and we will remove it.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will update the effective date at the top and describe what changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means the current version applies.
